2021 Ford F-350

For the 2021 model year, there are just a handful of changes to the Ford Super Duty.  The XL Power Equipment option, which is available on basic models with the dual-rear-wheel axle, includes trailer-tow mirrors with heated glass and manually adjustable folding and telescoping features. All Super Duty vehicles may now be fitted with a bed step and other features.

Overview:

The 2021 Ford F-350 is offered in 6 trim levels:

  • King Ranch: Trailer reverse guidance
  • XL: Rear view camera
  • Platinum: LED headlamps
  • Limited: Twin panel moonroof
  • Lariat: Fog lamps
  • XLT: Lane-keeping alert

Performance and Fuel Economy

Ford’s 6.2-liter gasoline V-8 engine, which according to parts catalog specs generates 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, is standard equipment in the F-250 and F-350. A 10-speed automatic gearbox is more common than the six-speed automatic used in most Super Duties. It is possible to upgrade certain models with more powerful engines, and all powertrains are available in either rear- or four-wheel drive configurations, depending on the model. When it comes to horsepower, the gas-powered 7.3-liter V-8 delivers an impressive 475 horsepower and 475 pound-foot of torque, while the diesel 6.7-liter V-8 produces 475 horsepower and an unbelievable 1050 pound-foot of torque, too!

Off-road options for the Super Duty include the Tremor package, including a lift kit, beefier tires, and other trail-ready enhancements. Ford‘s heavy-duty trucks function as one would expect from vehicles capable of hauling up to 19 metric tonnes. The ride becomes less jarring and rough when the bed is full, or a trailer is mounted.

Design, Comfort, and Quality

While the outside of the 2021 Ford F-350 is striking, the inside is a study in harmony between form and function. There are distinct controls and materials in the Super Duty interiors that should become dirty even if stripped down. Lariat’s leather-trimmed seats, ambient lighting, heated and cooled front seats, and wireless charging set the tone for the whole vehicle. Consider the King Ranch, Platinum, or Limited trim levels if you’d want to experience a degree of luxury and exclusivity that no other vehicle on the market can match.

Despite this, even the most expensive models’ interiors are degraded by a few shoddy elements. Although the standard cab can only be outfitted with the long bed option, long and short beds are offered. Models with bucket seats include a large center console storage to set the Super Duty apart from the competition. A lockable compartment under the crew cab’s rear seat adds even more storage space.

Standard on all 2021 Ford F-350 Super Duty models save the entry-level XL is an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that’s easy to use and loaded with features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. After the first three-month trial period, a monthly subscription to SiriusXM satellite radio and a 10-speaker B&O (Bang & Olufsen) sound system are also available as options. Large volume and tuning knobs on the steering wheel and tactile controls on the steering wheel make the system easy to use. With two 110-volt outlets, bigger cabs may be equipped with enough accessory outlets to light up a GNR concert, as well as other accessory outlets.

Safety Features

The majority of the lineup may be configured with a wide range of driver-assistance features, such as automatic emergency braking and a convenient multi-view camera system, among other things. Similarly, the 2021 Ford F-350 ‘s blind-spot monitoring system is functional even when the truck is carrying a trailer.
