Fuel Economy

The ATS gets 22 mpg in the city, 31 mpg on the interstate, and 25 mpg on the combined highway/city cycle with the 2.0-liter turbo-4. AWD and that statistic dropped by one mpg on the highway as expected. The ATS manual gearbox gets worse gas mileage on paper: 20/29/23 mpg. Design

The 2018 Cadillac ATS has a monotonous quality to it which may be because it has been used so often. Compared to the rest of the Cadillac lineup, its sheet metal is bland and lacks personality. Although the ATS Coupe is even more “populist,” this seems to be an opportunity lost on an item that was supposed to be more “lifestyle.” In the ATS, the corners are rounded and softened to near-anonymity regardless of body type. Its tail leaves a minimal imprint since its hood line is so low. Aside from numbers, the side profile of the ATS coupe is noticeably longer than that of a four-door sedan.
