2013 BMW 7-SERIES

The 2013 BMW 7-Series is offered with five distinct engines, ranging from a turbocharged six-cylinder in the base model, the 740i, to a twin-turbo V12 in the top-of-the-line 760Li. Even the basic model of the BMW 7-Series has enough power, but the higher trim levels are noticeably faster. There is also a high-performance version of the 7-Series called the Alpina B7 and a hybrid version called the ActiveHybrid 7, both of which are available. Standard equipment includes an eight-speed automatic gearbox, which has been praised by one of our test drivers for its responsive shifts.

Overview:

The 2013 BMW 7-SERIES is offered in 4 trim levels:

  • 750Li
  • 750Li xDrive
  • 750i
  • 750i xDrive

Performance and Fuel Economy

Turbocharged inline-6, V8, and V12 engines are available as an all-electric hybrid drivetrain. With either the six-cylinder or V8 engine, you may have rear- or all-wheel drive. It used to be that the hybrid was paired with the V8, but this year the inline-6, which is more in keeping with the hybrid’s capabilities, has been chosen. It’s only available in extended-wheelbase variants of the hybrid and the V12.

With the inclusion of Valvetronic, the 2013 BMW 750i’s 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 now produces 445 hp, an increase of 45 hp above the 2012 model’s output. With 535 horsepower from its V12, the BMW 750Li is a fantastic smooth rocket machine; if you can afford it and spectacular is more important to you than the economy, purchase one.

Design

The 2013 BMW 7-Series has been upgraded, but it has not been changed, so what you see at first glance is relatively similar; yet, there is the feeling of being more detail-oriented than it was in the past. Because of its enormous proportions, the present generation of the BMW 7-Series has, in terms of its design, always been able to differentiate itself from other automobiles in its class.

Exterior

The front end of the 2013 7-Series has been given a front end that has been given a somewhat more angular appearance, giving it a front end that draws the eyes to concentrate downward on a long, horizontal air inlet that cuts across the front end. This gives it a front end that has a front end that draws the eyes to concentrate downward on a long, horizontal air inlet that cuts. The twin-kidney grille now has nine slats instead of the previous thirteen, and all of the surfaces surrounding it have been resculpted to match the new look. As a direct consequence of this change, the grille now has a noticeably more open look. There is a long strip of chrome in the back that runs over the bumper, and the taillights get increasingly intricate and focused on contrast as they go farther back.

Interior

You’ll receive a roomy and comfortable big sedan for the standard-length 2013 BMW 7-Series or one of the long-wheelbase (iL) variants like the 750Li. The inside is very sophisticated, and it has a subdued yet luxurious feel to it. In contrast to the Benz S-Class, which is only available in its long-wheelbase configuration in this market, the 7-Series grows by 5.5 inches when upgraded to the iL trim level. The majority of this additional length is allocated to the rear seating area, where it increases legroom and makes it easier to get in and out of the vehicle.

2013 sees a new and improved design for the front seats of the 7er. They have a more contoured shape and are thinner, but most of them do not have thigh cushions that reach farther. The 7-Series offers high-quality seats with many adjustments designed to keep passengers pain-free for extended periods on both smooth and bumpy stretches of road. One of the greatest automobiles we know for tall drivers is the BMW 7-Series.
